Jeremy Palmitier
Education
Jeremy comes from Texas where he began his career as a firefighter/paramedic and has since gained over 17 years of prehospital, remote duty and flight paramedic experience. He is always in pursuit of expanding his education and will be finishing his nursing degree in the spring of 2019.
Jeremy worked for the US State Department Air Embassy program in Iraq and Afghanistan. While there he flew multiple missions in support of State Department operations and helped develop their fixed wing program. In addition to transport medicine Jeremy ran local clinics and instructed CPR.
After moving to California with his family he joined one of California’s largest air medical providers working his way up to Medical Crew Lead. He was recognized for his years of dedication and service with the Above and Beyond award. He has since returned to his roots as a firefighter where he currently works as a firefighter/paramedic in the Bay Area.
Over the years Jeremy has been involved in many different educational positions including leading EMT courses at universities, teaching critical care skills and being a flight paramedic field training officer. With a passion for furthering prehospital care Jeremy has worked on multiple EMS supply and protocol committees. Through education he believes the role of paramedics in California can be expanded to include a greater scope of care.
